We curated an exclusive event in Budapest for United Collaborative Group (UCG), bringing together CEE tech decision-makers to explore opportunities in Indonesia’s dynamic market. The event focused on topics like AI-driven growth, adapting Western solutions for Indonesia’s needs, and insights into the country’s Golden Vision 2045. Our role included working out the theme and event details with UCG, creating the landing page for the event, managing participant curation, enhancing networking opportunities, and ensuring seamless event logistics. With 50 hand-picked attendees, the event positioned UCG as a key player in fostering collaboration between the CEE region and Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem.

Social Innovation Startup Award
We partnered with Rubio and the NN Group to promote the Social Innovation Startup Award during Impact Week 2024 in Bilbao. By connecting the initiative with key startup hubs across 10 countries, we helped attract 358 high-quality applications. Over 100 entrepreneurs were shortlisted for interviews, ensuring strong participation and paving the way for impactful funding, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

“Failure Culture and Ecosystem Connectivity in the CEE Startup Scene” meetup
In June 2024, we organized the “Failure Culture and Ecosystem Connectivity in the CEE Startup Scene” event as part of the ViennaUP series, marking the launch of the Vienna Institute of Global Studies (VIGS).
The event featured two panels: “The Untold Startup Failure Stories”, which explored lessons from startup failures, and “The United Yet Disconnected CEE Startup Ecosystem”, focusing on improving cross-border collaboration. It positioned VIGS as a key advocate for addressing regional challenges and fostering innovation in the CEE startup ecosystem.

Supporting Codecool’s Regional Expansion
To support their regional expansion, we connected Codecool with key stakeholders in three targeted CEE cities. These connections included ecosystem stakeholders such as local business leaders, startup influencers, and innovation community members.

We partnered with Health VentureLab (HVL) to execute a strategic communication campaign for their very first accelerator program, marking the inception of HVL as a healthcare-focused accelerator. MVM Smart Future Lab Incubator
We collaborated with MVM Smart Future Lab to scout scaleup-phase startups across the EU and Switzerland for the MVM Edison Startup Competition. MeOut VETXchange Project
We supported MeOut in establishing a consortium for the Erasmus+ VETXchange project, fostering collaboration between Hungary, Belgium, and the Philippines. Leveraging our network, we connected MeOut with key stakeholders in the Philippines to finalize the partnership. This initiative promotes knowledge exchange, internationalization strategies, and public-private dialogue, empowering vocational education institutions and enhancing mobility opportunities across regions.

Helping Codecool Access Local Networks for AI Training
Codecool was commissioned by Google to deliver AI training sessions to NGOs across the CEE region as part of the AI Opportunity Fund. We helped them source trainers in Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine, leveraging our extensive network, and provided key introductions to well-connected individuals and community hubs in these countries. As a result, Codecool gained access to a strong pool of IT trainers, enabling them to move forward with their program.
